The X Factor does Michael Jackson

Tonight on the X Factor the contestants each performed a Michael Jackson song. The King of Pop who died in 2009 will not soon be forgotten as each contestant showed there love for him with their renditions of his songs. And with Michaels family there to share with*.

A fitting choice for the X Factor because the winner will star in their own Pepsi commercial just as the star did in 1984.

Pepsi Commercial aired 1984
I am on Team Astro. Team Drew. And Team Rachel. Yes, all of them. [Click there names to read more about them and see their latest performance].

One of my personal favourite Michael Jackson songs is 'Man in the Mirror'. This was done by Melanie Amaro in the Top 11 show just a few weeks ago. Enjoy.

A pop icon that even after death proves to continue shine.

*  The power Simon Cowell must have to be able to get not only The Jackson brothers but his mother and children to be a part of the X Factor audience is incredible, and a bit frightening.

Coffee and Cancer

The Times recently posted an article about coffee's ability to reduce the risk of Cancer. Well as a coffee lover. I was excited.

Have a read.

Drinking Coffee May Lower Women's Risk of Cancer

I don't know if this is true. But they've convinced me. I'm sticking with coffee.

Its nice to know fictional characters have the same love for coffee that I do. I myself have had a few flings with Macchiato beverages. But I always return to my black coffee.

Life as of late...

Once again, it has been an inexcusable amount of time since my last post; my apologies. The mixture of sheer exhaustion and busyness have kept me from my computer for the time necessary to write even a simple blog. But I have missed putting finger to keyboard. And thus here I am.

Life as of Late has included.

Visits from friends. It was a much needed visit. And I missed [and still do] them very much.

I also was able to go to Orillia to visit Joel. He showed me the town, we baked cookies, made a snowman and enjoyed Christmas [His family] in Uxbridge.
