It seems lately the song titles are getting to me, "What If His People Prayed?" by Casting Crowns. I was listening to this song last night and was thinking about the role of President and what that means. To me it means leading with God as the leader, also I was wondering what as a person and a student council we could accomplish if we truly turn to God and pray.
How often do we forget the most important thing, prayer. A gift of communication with the father. What a joy it is knowing that not only does He hear our prayers but promises to answer. It is so important that as I am preparing to go into this next school year leading and living 'Full Stride' for God, that I first begin on my knees before Him; trusting in His guidance.
So as life is changing around us and as we begin to make decision and deal challenges in our lives let us not forget to go to our Sovereign Lord in prayer and with devotion, I will leave you with this quote I came across.
